He Festival of San Javier hosts the performance of "Filoctetes", that arrives after its premiere at the Festival de Mérida where it has represented, for the first time in the history of the Festival, is late and little known work of Sophocles, versioned by Jodi Casanovas and directed by Antonio Simón. A concise and solvent cast composed of the veteran Pedro Casablanc, Pepe Viyuela, Félix Gómez and Samuel Viyuela gives life to a montage with set design of the Murcian Paco Azorín.
Elucidate if the end justifies the means, it will be the task of the public that will attend to a poetic and reflective montage about the longing for a new world just in which recounts the vicissitude of the warrior Filoctetes interpreted by Pedro Casablanc that his classmates leave, on the way to the Trojan War, after being bitten by a snake in thep>
