The III Theater Competition Amateur "Francisco Rubio" resumes his programming starting tomorrow, Friday, May 17 at 9:00 p.m. in the theater of the center "Prince of Asturias", of Santiago de la Ribera, with Theater of the Slaughterhouse, of Murcia that will put in scene the work "The landau of seis caballos ", by Víctor Ruiz Iriarte. The work, directed by Manolo Ortín, recreates the own world created by a group of old people extemporaneous with the counterpoint of a series of visitors that They arrive at the farm where the protagonists live.
The contest phase will close it On Saturday, May 18, the group Ofecum Teatro, of Granada, with the representation at 20h of the work "Olivia y Ana", a adaptation of the work "Olivia y Eugenio", by Herbert Morote. The work, directed by Antonio Morell and starring Mila Estepa and Elena Parras, addresses the moving relationship between a mother and her daughter with Down syndrome, which will be her main support.
On Sunday, May 19 at 19h the award ceremony will be held for the best work, best director, and best actor and actress, star and cast among the four works selected in the contest phase. To the term of the ceremony will be represented "BEATG. A heartbeat different ", with direction and dramaturgy by Mario Hernández and design and scenic space of the ribereña settled in Madrid, Isis of Coura.
