San Javier is at the regional head of paper-cardboard recycling in 2018

The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo today highlighted the high degree of awareness of the residents of the municipality in terms of recycling as evidenced by the fact that it is the municipality of the Region of Murcia that recycled more paper-cardboard in 2018 with of half a million kilos collected in the blue container.
This was announced today by the manager of Ecoembes in the Murcia area, José Carlos Arranz in an event held at the Ecoparque de San Javier in which he highlighted the increase of 18 percent in paper cardboard and 20 per cent in light packaging, which place San Javier above the regional average of 2018, and at the top in the paper-cardboard case.
Arranz highlighted the collaboration of the City Council, Ecoembes and the citizens so that San Javier recycles more every day thanks to the awareness campaigns carried out in all areas for years and the provision of new containers that have been increased with 25 new blue and yellow units next to distribution of more than 200 blue and yellow bins in buildings public and schools.
