Tourism celebrates a training day on "Motriz" the Community's tourism intelligence system

The Minister of Tourism and Culture, Miriam Guardiola accompanied by the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo opened today the First Training Seminar on Motriz, that was held in the assembly hall of the City of San Javier, aimed at introducing entrepreneurs from the Mar Menor area, technicians and local administrations to this intelligence system created by the Community.
The platform, which is offered free of charge, it represents a decisive leap towards transformation of the tourism sector in the Region, being able to collect and analyze large volumes of data in real time about trends, key players, distribution channels and events.
This knowledge is going to enable destinations and companies to anticipate needs of visitors and, ultimately, make more decisions competitive In this way, hotels, travel agencies and others tourist establishments, as well as representatives of the municipalities of the Mar Menor were able to know in depth all the possibilities offered by the new tool, its scope and its implementation.
