A thousand students from eleven schools of the municipality participate in the III Healthy Week

Plus of a thousand students between 8 and 12 years old belonging to eleven schools of the municipality participate today and tomorrow in the III Healthy Week that organizes the Department of Social Services to promote the healthy habits among the youngest. The activity is part of the Banco de Salud project for children and adolescents and with the active participation of a group of teachers from the centers educational, health centers of Primary Care and technicians municipal. The team that participates in this project works from joint way along the course in the development of performances of awareness about healthy habits from the perspective physical, psychological and social.
Today's day has been developed in the Municipal Sports Center of San Javier where they have attended half of the participants who have passed through a circuit of guided sports activities, as well as an area of exhibitions about the work that has been done in the centers educational, relating to oral hygiene, postural hygiene, workshops on food, sugary and energy drinks or a workshop on vital signs. The participants who have taken a healthy breakfast based on fruit, have also learned notions health services with Civil Protection volunteers, Road safety with Local Police, in addition to enjoying the game stand donated by Decathlon.
