Municipality of HIdrogea raise awareness among young people about the value of water with a fun show
20-03-2019
Near of 300 children from 3rd and 4th grade of San Javier Elementary enjoyed today, in the Parque Almansa civic center, in San Javier, a show dedicated to water, offered by Hidrogea and framed in the events organized this week by the City of San Javier on the occasion of the celebration of Water Day and the Day of the Tree, on March 22 and 23 respectively.
Of a fun way and through participation and experimentation, children have learned something more about the use of water, its scarcity and the need to make use responsible and sustainable water resources, just as promotes the UN with the celebration of World Water Day, which is celebrated on March 22.
The Councilor for Services Públicos, María Dolores Ruiz and the director of Hidrogea, Inmaculada Serrano presented the activity reminding the children that despite scarcity "we are really privileged to have water at home "and reminded them that" more than two million people live without drinking water in other parts of the world. " Both highlighted the value of this type of action to influence the awareness of the youngest about the need for care of water resources.
