The Autonomous Community will shortly award the refurbishment works for access to San Javier via the Sucina road

The Plenary session of the City of San Javier has ratified today unanimously the first addendum to the Collaboration Agreement between the Directorate General Development and Infrastructure and the City of San Javier that will allow the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia immediate award of urban adaptation works, improvement of the accessibility and road safety on the Sucina road (RM-301), recently named Avenida Miguel Ángel Blanco.
The works, which extend 860 meters in one of the main accesses to San Javier, include the remodeling of the current rotunda that connects with the AP7 the highway RM-1 (San Javier-Zeneta) and the doubling the road to the urban core, with a median of palm trees, to a new gazebo of new construction of 52 meters, which improves access to industrial estates to both sides of the avenue. The road, which will keep the trees existing, will continue to the urban center with a lane in the two directions and sidewalks of two meters on both sides. The works include a rainwater collector, to prevent the accumulation of water during heavy rains, they also include the replacement of all the urban services in the avenue.
