Tribute to retired teachers and teachers of San Javier

The City Council of San Javier , through the Department of Education, held a night tribute to the 81 teachers and professors of San Javier who have retired in the last 10 years, in an act, celebrated in the School of Sports Sciences, which brought together a large part of the educational community of the municipality.

In the same act we thanked the work of the volunteers of the Banco del Tiempo who collaborate with school reinforcement activities in educational centers and took the opportunity to claim the newly elected "Best teacher of Spain 2018 "with a special mention to Toni García Arias, teacher and director of the CEIP "Joaquín Carrión", of San Javier. A public acknowledgment was also made, supported by a video to all the educational centers of the municipality, primary schools, Institutes, Nursery Schools, Language School, Conservatory and School of Sports Sciences.

The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo closed the act that opened the general director of Vocational Training and Teachings of Special Regime, Sergio López.
