The mayor José Miguel Luengo received yesterday at City Hall the brothers Enrique and Elena Gallego, by Enrique Gallego Hairdressers who They gave him a gift from the Mayor's Office of Bovino, the Italian village of the Apulia region, where the family resides Scapicchio, with which the Gallego maintains a close relationship originated from shaving "Old Style".
It all started with Enrique's attempt to keep the tradition of shaving with a classic razor, which had no secrets for his father Enrique Gallego who learned the trade. With the idea of spreading those teachings and revaluing the razor, Enrique proposed to start a didactic work, a pioneer in Spain, which took the Scapicchio family, who had already started a project similar in Italy.
The two families of barbers understood the first one, and Enrique Gallego could count on them to mount his first course "Old Style ", in Santiago de la Ribera. Currently preparing the seventh course to be held on March 17, for which he expects, as usual until now, Spanish and foreign students. The two families are still in contact, collaborating and exchanging visits, determined not to lose the old school of shaving razor whose practice they learned from their own parents.
