10-12-2018
The Belén Marinero, from Santiago de la Ribera, opened yesterday full of local allusions with the sea as a prominent element. The pilgrimage maritime of the Virgen del Carmen, fishing scenes, jetties, networks, and other historical details such as the watchtowers highlight in a set where there is no shortage of windmills and crops inland. The Bethlehem, work of the Association Friends of the Bethlehem, of San Javier, was inaugurated yesterday by Mayor José Miguel Luengo in the Barnuevo esplanade, next to the beach of the same name where you can already visit until the day of Kings.
The inauguration of Bethlehem coincided last weekend with the Christmas boot in Santiago de la Ribera that Saturday offered a warm welcome to Santa Claus in charge of lighting the tree Christmas that presides Sandoval Avenue, with the sea in the background. Later he moved to the Santa Claus House that has been installed in the middle of the avenue where you will receive all children to visit it with the following schedule: December 14 from 5:30 p.m. 20:30; days 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on December 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
