The Library of San Javier wins a special prize of intergenerational coexistence endowed with 6000 euros and another 1700 in books

The San Javier library has won the Special Living Prize intergenerational award granted by the Banco de Santander Foundation, within the Campaign of Animation to the Reading María Moliner, endowed with 6000 euros in cash, 1700 euros for purchase of books and a batch of Santander Group books.
The prize assessment committee has chosen the library of San Javier "for his project Disappear to appear and its wide programming of activities for the social integration of elderly and for their support for generational integration with activities of reading promotion developed among the elderly with children, young people and families, such as: Intergenerational Docuforum, Make sense of the story, Creative Writing Workshop intergenerational, I'll read to your house, and Workshops Digital literacy ".
The jury also stresses that the library of San Javier has created "A cultural space for all, opening to participation citizenship and institutional collaboration and involving all the neighbors and entities of the locality of the design of the services and the activities of it ".
