The City Council allocates 52,000 euros to Cáritas San Javier and Cáritas Santiago de la Ribera

The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo highlighted the work carried out by Caritas today Parish in the municipality during the signing of the renovation of the economic collaboration agreement maintained by the City Council of San Javier with Cáritas San Javier, and Cáritas de Santiago de la Ribera.

The agreement initialed by the parish priest of San Javier, Juan Prieto and the parish priest of Santiago de la Ribera, Juan Prieto, will involve an aid of 26,000 euros for each one of the entities with the general purpose of favoring inclusion social in the municipality.

Both Cáritas San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera has a group of volunteers working in social assistance, in coordination with the Social Services of the City of San Javier, dealing with immediate attention in cases of need and developing specific programs multidisciplinary and sectoral.
