San Javier hosted the II International Conference on Dance and the Sea

The Faculty of Sports Sciences and the City of San Javier they continue betting on the Dance as a new Degree to be taught in the Campus of San Javier, and in that line it was again celebrated by Second consecutive year the II International Conference The Dance and the Sea, within the offer of the International University of the Sea, from July 18 to 22.
Teaching staff with international training and experience taught classes of different subjects and styles, working the Dance from its origins in the evolution of man up to the values educational, therapeutic, social and recreational activities acquired in the present.
The students, who formed a heterogeneous group, worked units Themes such as Danzas del Mundo, Psychology applied to Dance, Contemporary Dance, American Musical, Percussion, Introduction to Flamenco dance and modern dance.
At the head of the Conference were the Doctor and professor of School of Sport Sciences of San Javier, Elena Conesa, and the PhD in Flamenco Dance and professor at the Dance Conservatory, dancer and soloist of the Carmen and Matilde Rubio Company, Estefanía Brao Martín.
