A total of 60 professionals work this summer in rescue and surveillance of beaches

A total of 54 professional lifeguards, five coordinators and one Chief of the service work this summer in the 18 surveillance posts that have been opened in 28 beaches of Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor, reported today the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo that stood out as the main novelty of the Copla Plan for this year, the development of pioneering self-protection plans Special for the five beaches with distinctive "Q" Quality with which the municipality counts.

Any of the specific plans elaborated on the "Q" beaches (Barnuevo, Colón, Castillico, Mistral and Pedruchillo) have detected high risk parameters, added Luengoerz of the regional government in the Plan Copla whose The objective is to provide users with safer beaches.
The beaches of Santiago de la Bank with surveillance posts served by a total of 15 Professional lifeguards, from 10am to 8pm, are Barnuevo, Colón Sur, Colón Norte and Castillicos. In La Manga where there are 39 lifeguards posts, the surveillance posts, which open from 11am to 8pm They are located on the beaches of Banco del Tabal, Pedrucho, Arenal, and Estacio, with two positions in each one; Ensenada del Esparto with three posts, and Veneciola, Mistral and Pedruchillo with one.
