The City Council renews its collaboration with the San Javier Symphonic Band

The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and the director of the San Javier Symphonic Band, Gregorio José González has signed the renewal of the agreement collaboration maintained by both institutions through which the band will receive a municipal contribution of 5000 euros that will be will allocate to the maintenance of musical training integrated by 45 musicians with ages from nine years old.
The mayor of San Javier He highlighted the quality of the young musicians that make up the Band as well as its involvement in the social, cultural and festive life of municipality in which they maintain a continuous presence. The Band, who was formed under the umbrella of the Conservatory of Music of San Javier, although it also has external musicians, it does not rest in summer and in these days he prepares his participation in a National Festival of Bands in Cartagena on July 14 and at the concert "Voices of Spain. Tribute to Nino Bravo and Manolo Escolar " included in the festival program of Santiago de la Ribera on the 28th July.
