Homemade gluten-free pastries

The Department of Health has not wanted to miss the Day of the Celiac, which was held on May 27, and in collaboration with the Association de Celíacos de Murcia, ACMU, has organized a cooking workshop "El gluten-free chef "to be held next Sunday, June 3 in the civic center of La Grajuela.
The Councilor for Health, Catalina Pérez presented the workshop with the dietitian and nutritionist of the Celiac Association of Murcia, Immaculate Llopis who recalled that celiac disease is a chronic disease whose only treatment is a gluten-free diet.
Inmaculada Llopis warned of the danger of cross contamination, when a food free of gluten may come into contact with another that does contain the protein, so he advised, especially in the masses, the home processing of them to ensure there is no contact some.
For that reason, from the Department of Health has already held a bread workshop, and in this case a pastry shop has been prepared, in which it will be shown how to make and handle gluten-free pastries, for confectionery, more nutritional quality.
