The City Council renews collaboration agreement with COAG El Mirador

He mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo today signed the renewal of the agreement between the City Council and the Agricultural Association of El Mirador, COAG with its president Emilio Alfonso Martínez, who will involve the municipal contribution of a total of 16,500 euros, in a act that was attended by Francisco Gil, secretary of organization of COAG Region of Murcia, and the councilor of Agriculture, Sergio Martínez.
Emilio Alfonso Martínez thanked the municipal support that will go to the operation of the office that the agricultural group maintains open in El Mirador and from which more than 400 are served farmers. The office, which since last year is the official center to endorse the Conditionality for beneficiaries of European aid, offers technical and professional training, and advice, among other functions.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo reiterated the municipal support to the agricultural sector of the Municipality in the face of problems with water scarcity and highlighted "its commitment to technification and environmental values ". Luengo also pointed out "the investor and creator character of employment of the sector in the municipality, so it deserves all our institutional support ".
