San Javier participated in the V State Meeting of Councils of Child and Adolescent Participation, held in Oviedo

San Javier was present in the Fifth State Meeting of Child Participation Councils and Adolescent, as one of the Child Friendly Cities, appointed by the UNICEF Spanish Committee, held during the last of week in Oviedo.
The Councilor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa, the responsible technician of Ciudad Amiga de la Infancia, in San Javier, Susana Navarro and two of the young members of the Council of Child Participation and Adolescent of San Javier, Pablo Pérez and Cari Lechuga, formed the local delegation in this Meeting that culminated with the Manifesto of Oviedo in which the proposals of the 200 young people are collected participants, between 10 and 17 years of age, from 13 autonomous communities.
The young people worked on seven themes, framed in the principles of the Convention of Rights of the Child, under the guiding principle of the equity of opportunities between boys and girls. The three themes on What has impacted the most has been gender equality, identity and diversity, and cyberbullying in social networks.
