The offices of Santiago de la Ribera and El Mirador incorporate pictograms to break down cognitive barriers

Saint Javier continues to break down cognitive barriers through the use of pictograms that have now been incorporated into doctor's offices of Santiago de la Ribera and El Mirador. It's about the project "Friendly environments. Understand your city "driven by Aidemar with the San Javier City Council that has already been implemented in the City Hall building and others like the heated pool with which it is intended to contribute to the integration of people with autism or communication difficulties.
The Councilor for Education and Health, Catalina Pérez and the specialist in hearing and language, Gabriela Lillo, from Aidemar, attended the offices where, together with those responsible, the pictograms that identify that service through images so that serves as visual support to autistic people with the aim of increase their autonomy and independence.
The mayor Catalina Pérez reiterated the importance of this project as "an exercise in social responsibility "and announced the continuity of the same in the rest of public buildings of the municipality.
