The mayor José Miguel Luengo personally congratulated Paulina Vallejo, Athlete of the Athletics Club San Javier that at 77 years old just got a gold medal and two silver in the Championship of Europe Veterans celebrated last March in Madrid, in the category of over 75 years. Paulina achieved gold in launch with a 21.25m mark; and silver by weight, with 8.01m. and in hammer with 24m.
The veteran athlete, who for years is a regular of the local sports facilities, proudly showed their medals at Mayor and the Councilor for Sports, Estíbaliz Masegosa, who they undertook to study the possibility of helping him you can optimize your workouts and face new competitions.
