The majors cross tonight various temples of the municipality

The welcome to the month of May is done singing in the huerta of Murcia, a tradition that has more than 2000 years and is known as Los Mayos. It consists in singing to the Virgin in different churches or crosses installed in the houses, with a huertana cuadrilla that finishes with the interpretation of a typical dance.
Here in San Javier, the tradition is maintained by the group of Mar Menor Choirs and Dances with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City of San Javier.
