Imagina 2018 will fill the streets and public spaces of San Javier with emerging and young art from April 25 to 29

He emerging art will return to the streets and public spaces of the municipality with the Imagina 2018 festival, organized by the council of Youth and to be held from April 25 to 29 in San Javier with a total of 21 works that cover a wide range of disciplines artistic, ranging from photography to video art.



In this edition the guest artist will be the Murcia Juan José Martínez Cánovas whose work will fill the walls of the Museum of San Javier where on Friday 27 will be held the traditional meeting with all the participating artists that the band will play Atrezo at the opening party to be held in the courtyard of the Museum.



The councilor of Juventud Estíbaliz Masegosa, the general director of Youth, Fran Sánchez and the artistic director of Imagina 2018, Cristina Franco, presented this morning at the City Hall of San Javier the Festival "that celebrates 15 years of young art and vindicative, "said the mayor of Youth.



Masegosa pointed as themes main among the themes addressed by the works selected, homophobia, social networks, the role of the woman, with attention also to environmental issues such as the Sea Minor, who will be the protagonist of one of the proposalsstify ">

He General Director of Youth, Fran Sánchez guaranteed the support of the Regional Government "to the young creative movement of the Region of Murcia and therefore a festival whose 15 years of life are not fruit of chance ". The director general of Youth highlighted, likewise, the provision of public spaces, by the City Council of San Javier, so that young artists can publicize his work.
