The president of the Mar Menor Nautical Station transfers to the mayor his concerns on nautical tourism and promotion of the lagoon

He Mayor José Miguel Luengo and the Councilor for Tourism, Antonio Martínez received at the City Hall of San Javier the new president of the Mar Menor Marine Resort, Luis Cabello and secretary of the entity, Dionisio García with those who maintained a work meeting in which the responsible of the dedicated entity to promote nautical tourism in the Mar Menor your concerns and suggestions related to the promotion touristic of the lagoon.
The new president of the Nautical Station, Luis Cabello pointed out the convenience of union of the four riverside municipalities, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar, Los Alcázares and Cartagena, in the tourist promotion joint of the Mar Menor. He also raised the possibility that the General Directorate of the Mar Menor would assume coordination tasks also in tourism, pointing out the convenience of moving the headquarters of the aforementioned General Directorate to the Mar Menor area.
Between other issues, those responsible for the Nautical Station showed their concern about the situation of motor boats in the Mar Menor before what the mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo showed supporter not to prohibit but to regulate the uses of this type of vessels, including measures to protect areas most sensitive of the lagoon.
