The City Council contracts the maintenance of public lighting, traffic lights and electrical assemblies for annual events in the municipality

He Mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and Antonio Ramírez, representative of the Iberian Society of Electrical Constructions, S.A. (SICE) signed the maintenance contract this morning, conservation and repair of public lighting and traffic lights municipality as well as the assembly of temporary facilities for various events held by the City of San Javier throughout of the year, which has been awarded, through an open procedure, to the cited mercantile for a total amount of 534,578 euros.
He contract, which has a duration of two years, extendable by two others, has been awarded in an open procedure without reaching amount of the tender that amounted to 540,000 euros explained the Councilor of Employment María Teresa Foncuberta present at the signature of the contract which highlighted its importance "for the improvement which will mean for public lighting and road safety in our municipality. "
Foncuberta added that this new service guarantees sufficient levels of lighting in public roads, parks, gardens, or spaces that accommodate festivities, festivals, events such as Carnival, San Blas, nativity scenes and others, as well as the safety and proper functioning of the electrical installations.
