The San Javierp wastewater treatment plant allows to reuse 100 percent of wastewater in quality water for irrigation

San Javier wastewater management allows the reuse of one hundred percent of the incoming flow at the station municipal wastewater treatment plant, surpassing even the regional average that stands at 99.2, according to the data offered today by the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Francisco Jódar who visited, next to the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, the treatment plant from which they leave at year 3.5 cubic hectometres of water for irrigation.
Councilor Francisco Jódar also highlighted the quality of water that goes to agriculture thanks to actions like the recent interior lining of the pipes of the evacuation network of wastewater that runs through the Paseo Colón that has allowed, as you have been able to verify in today's visit, reduce by half the conductivity of water intended for agriculture, in addition to avoiding any leakage of the network to the Sea Minor and vice versa.
The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo thanked the commitment of the regional government with the improvement of water management residuals and congratulated the counselor for this action in the renovation collectors "with what has been achieved to lower the conductivity and respond to an old claim from our farmers to improve the quality of the water that comes out of the purifier ".
