The children of Punto de Attention to Children, PAI, "Mar de Colores", from El Mirador, You already know why El Mirador is called "La huerta de Europa". During the last weeks they have worked on a large mural dimensions, which can already be seen at the entrance of the center under the title "El Mirador, orchard of Europe", in which with materials recycled reproduce both typical landscape infrastructures such as greenhouses, as well as a broad representation of the vegetables that are grown in El Mirador.
He mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the councilor of Agriculture, Sergio Martínez visited the center today to know this project that familiarizes children with what in many cases is the very occupation of their families, since many of them are engaged in agriculture, and with which the importance is of vegetables and fruits for a healthy diet. Activity was completed with a plantation in the center's school garden and the delivery of a passport to each child as "Large farmers of the Orchard of Europe ".
