The Ministry of Education announces the tender for the project for the expansion of the IES Mar Menor

The Director General of Educational Centers, Remedios Lajara visited today IES "Mar Menor" with the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo where he announced that the Ministry already has the sheets technicians of the expansion works of the center so in the The next few days will proceed to contract the project of the works, for which a total of 74,848 euros will be allocated.

Remedios Lajara explained that the drafting of the project, whose deadline is two months and a half, includes basic and execution project, program development of work, study of Safety and Health, and report of quality control of the project.

The expansion of the center education, which will be carried out next to the current building on a parcel assigned by the City of San Javier for that purpose, will consist in the construction of nine multi-purpose classrooms, two technical classrooms, five departments, four workshops, two laboratories, five warehouses, a staff room, a space for concierge, reprography and access control, four toilets, a gym and a porch. The total constructed area will be 3,151 square meters and the cost of the works will amount to 2,598,889 euros.
