The City of San Javier supports irrigators in their demands for solutions in the absence of water resources

The City Council of San Javier has shown its support to the irrigators in the demonstration on March 7 in Madrid to demand solutions to the lack of water resources and calls a five-minute strike Day 7 at 12 noon. in the Plaza de España in San Javier, as a sign of solidarity with the sector.

The mayor José Miguel Luengo, who has claimed a State pact of Water and the defense of the Tajo-Segura transfer, has announced that will attend the Madrid demonstration, along with the councilor of Agriculture, Sergio Martínez, to accompany the irrigators of San Javier.

Likewise Luengo has invited all the neighbors who can not move to Madrid and want to show their solidarity with the irrigators to attend the five-minute strike to be held in the Plaza de España, at 12 noon on March 7, in front of the City Council, where a manifesto will be read in support of irrigators.
