18-02-2018
Santiago de la Ribera said goodbye to his carnival on Sunday afternoon with a massive parade in which more than 2000 people participated in about 50 local comparsas and visitors. Pending until the last moment of time, due to the forecast of rain that was not finally fulfilled, the parade left at 5:00 pm, with a slightly shorter route, along Mar Menor avenue. Several schools, with their AMPAS and students joined the carnival, opening the parade that also included dance schools such as Yaiza and Kebana. The local troupes that showed a wide variety of ages among its components opened the way to their Muses whose fantasies brought the spectacular character of the local carnival and the parade whose local presence closed the Carnival Queen and Musa of the comparsa "Rio"
