Students of the Mixed Employment-Training Program are involved in school gardens

The Councilor for Agriculture, Sergio Martinez highlighted the importance of school gardens today "So that children become familiar with agriculture, a sector so important in the municipality, "during his visit to the garden of the CEIP "Joaquín Carrión" to know the work that In the gardens, the students of the mixed program of Employment-Training for the Promotion of Cultural Activities, Youth and Children.
The students of the program, who includes training and work practice for a year, visit some of the school gardens in the municipality where they work with smaller the entire process of plant growth, from the planting of the seed, its care with water and ecological fertilizer, removal of weeds, and collection of plants. The students of the mixed program of Employment-Training collaborate throughout the year different functions with the councils of Social Services, Culture, Youth, Sports and even Parks and Gardens with different Dinamization actions.
