Atalayón, in Santiago de la Ribera, will have one of the first four points of free access for boats to the Mar Menor that the Autonomous Community of the Region will build of Murcia, framed in the Plan of Usage of Mar Menor, with an investment of 208,000 euros co-financed by the European Union. p>
The Minister of the Presidency and Development Pedro Rivera accompanied by the Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo, presented this morning at Castillico beach, next to Atalayón, the first phase of a project "which aims to eliminate illegal anchorages in the lagoon, facilitating the entry and exit of boats and jet skis through an access rod Direct to the sea ". p>
Users can use these accesses freely by safely introducing their trailer to leave the boat or motorcycle in the water. For this, a strip will be delimited, which in the Atalayón will be parallel to the existing breakwater, so that it does not interfere on the beach. P>
The access ramp, which will have a maximum width of six meters, will have two sections of different material, removable and joined by rings-cracks, with a section of prefabricated concrete and another one of extruded plastic made of recycled material, partly submerged 0.5 meters above the seabed. p>
Counselor Pedro Rivera informed that the works have already received the relevant reports from Costas, so they are awaiting tender "to make their execution as quick as possible".
